為了進(jìn)一步加快青年教師成長加強(qiáng)青年教師隊(duì)伍建設(shè),創(chuàng)建高效課堂,無錫外國語學(xué)校雙語小學(xué)部自本學(xué)期恢復(fù)正常教學(xué)后,便立即組織青年教師進(jìn)行教學(xué)能力“擂臺賽”。

In order to further accelerate the growth of young teachers, strengthen the construction of young teachers and create efficient class, the Bilingual Primary School of Wuxi Foreign Language School immediately organized young teachers to compete in the challenge of teaching ability after resuming normal teaching this semester.

本次賽課涵蓋語文、數(shù)學(xué)和英語學(xué)科。所有青年教師都十分重視此次賽課活動(dòng),把它作為自己素質(zhì)提升的一大契機(jī),全力以赴。同時(shí),每次課程結(jié)束,各學(xué)科組組長均會對課堂就教學(xué)目標(biāo)、教學(xué)過程、教學(xué)技能三方面客觀、全面評價(jià)教師課堂教學(xué),為活動(dòng)營造了濃厚的教學(xué)研討氛圍。

The competition covers Chinese, Maths and English.All the young teachers attach great importance to this competition and take it as an opportunity to improve their quality.At the same time, at the end of each course, leaders of each discipline group would evaluate teachers' teaching objectively and comprehensively in terms of teaching objectives, teaching process and teaching skills, which created a strong teaching and discussion atmosphere for the activity.

所有教師展示結(jié)束后,經(jīng)過評比,每個(gè)學(xué)科組由一名代表教師進(jìn)行學(xué)科風(fēng)采展示,由全體教師觀摩學(xué)習(xí)。

After the demonstration of all teachers, after evaluation, each subject group will be presented by a representative teacher, and all teachers will  learn.

英語組由吳萍老師進(jìn)行優(yōu)秀課展示。吳老師將課堂內(nèi)容上升至優(yōu)秀英語影視作品賞析的高度,結(jié)合四年級探究單元主題,利用Mountain chart,使用故事的5大元素(setting、characters、conflicts、plot、theme)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)行課堂活動(dòng),理解電影的邏輯構(gòu)架,同學(xué)們通過電影中的對話記錄key words和repeated words,進(jìn)而推導(dǎo)出影片主題。整個(gè)課堂過程中,同學(xué)們流利的口語表達(dá),深刻的思想高度令所有在場的老師們嘆為觀止。

The English group will be presented by Miss Kimberly.Miss Kimberly raised the class content to the level of appreciation of excellent English movies , explored the unit theme in combination with the fourth grade, and guided students to conduct activities with Mountain Chart and five elements of stories to understand the logical framework of films.Throughout the course of the class, the students’ fluent oral expression, deep thought of the height shocked all the teachers .

語文組由華萍老師進(jìn)行優(yōu)秀課展示。華萍老師通過對本單元地球資源的回顧引入對“水”字來源的探究,同時(shí)通過拓展閱讀《我是什么》幫助學(xué)生了解水的幾種不同形態(tài),利用SCI工具幫助學(xué)生有條理地表達(dá)對水的感受,為今后的寫作做好鋪墊。

The Chinese group was presented by Ms. Hua Ping.Through reviewing the earth resources in this unit, Ms. Hua introduced the exploration of the source of the word "water". At the same time, she helped students understand several different forms of water by reading 《what Am I》.And used SCI tools to help students express their feelings about water systematically, laying a good foundation for future writing.

數(shù)學(xué)組由丁曉老師進(jìn)行優(yōu)秀課展示。丁老師的課程不僅讓我們看到了“備教材”,更是利用Wonder Wall收集學(xué)生關(guān)于“多邊形內(nèi)角和”的相關(guān)疑惑,并利用此次課程充分解答并延伸學(xué)生的問題,做到了備課過程中的“備學(xué)生”。短短四十分鐘的課程,丁老師用生動(dòng)的語言、有趣的活動(dòng)牢牢抓住了每個(gè)學(xué)生的注意力。在老師的引導(dǎo)下,同學(xué)們自我探究,選擇任意多邊形并以小組合作的方式度量角的度數(shù),并分享自己的方法。最后在丁老師的引導(dǎo)下同學(xué)們從小組探究出的表格中發(fā)現(xiàn)了多邊形的內(nèi)角和與邊之間的關(guān)系。整個(gè)課堂讓我們看到了課程的形式美、方法美和結(jié)構(gòu)美,每一位在場的老師都受益匪淺。

The mathematics group was presented by Allison Ding.Miss Ding's class not only showed us the "prepared textbook", but also used Wonder Wall to collect students' questions about the "Internal Angle Sum of Polygons",  and used this class to fully answer and extend students' questions, thus realizing the "prepared students" in the course preparation.The class has forty minutes, and Teacher Ding captured the attention of every student with vivid language and interesting activities.Under the guidance of the teacher, the students explored by themselves, selected arbitrary polygons and measured the degree of the Angle in a group way, and shared their own methods.Finally, under the guidance of Teacher Ding, the students found the relationship between the inner angles and edges of polygons in the table explored by the group.The whole class let us see the beauty of form, method and structure of the course, every teacher present benefited a lot.     

每次優(yōu)秀課展示完畢,每位在場老師都會使用指南針工具,針對本次課提出自己想知道的、感興趣的、有所擔(dān)憂的內(nèi)容并提出建議。

At the end of each excellent class presentation, every teacher present will use the compass tool to put forward what they Need to know, what they are Excited about, and what they are Worried about, and give Suggestions for each class.

最后,雙語小學(xué)部劉校長為三名展示課教師頒發(fā)證書。

Finally, Principal Liu of Bilingual Department awarded certificates to three demonstration teachers.

操千曲而后曉聲,觀千劍而后識器。此次活動(dòng)的開展不僅為老師們搭建了一個(gè)研究學(xué)習(xí)和自我展示的平臺,更調(diào)動(dòng)了老師們不斷學(xué)習(xí)、共同提高的積極性,激勵(lì)他們敢于爭先、不懈努力,合力使雙語小學(xué)部的教育教學(xué)邁上一個(gè)新的臺階。

This activity not only builds a platform for teachers to study and show themselves, but also arouses teachers' enthusiasm for continuous learning , encourages them to be the first and make unremitting efforts, and makes the education and teaching of bilingual primary school step up to a new level.
