——from Karen

Strands of sunshine went through the window blinds onto the bed and wake me up. I had two piece of toasts and then went to the school. White clouds looked like a bird opening its wings, stretching in the sky and covering the sun. The breeze blew and brougnt a light chill to the summer.

As usual, Libby and I went to school very early. There is still an English class in the morning. Then we went to the chocolate factory by catching the tram. The tram through the bushes on the way. The Haigh’s chocolate factory located in the city center. We were given a viewing tour by a staff named Katherine. Katherine talked  about the procedures and introduced all the equipments to us. Each step is complex and precise from baking cocoa to eventually shaping liquid chocolate into various shapes. After some tour, Catherine gave us some chocolates to taste. I let it melt in my mouth,to enjoy the sweetness of milk, the freshness of jam and the bitterness of cocoa beans. The flavour of each chocolate is different, They intertwined with each other, lingeringed in the tongue, and last a long time .

I feel that life is like chocolate, you never know what is the flavour for next piece. Chocolate itself is full of unknown and mysterious.
